ABOUT THE PRESENTATION:  Have you ever wanted to know more about the imperial costumes that you’ve seen in museums and pictures? Jimmy Zang will tell us about the embroideries and woven tapestries, including rank insignia, dragon robes, jewelry and ornaments that distinguished Qing Court costume and attire. You will see close up real museum-quality examples and detailed illustrations of the uniquely refined and decorative work.

MORE ABOUT THE COLLECTOR: Jimmy Zang is a native Beijinger and a serious  private collector of Chinese works of art since 2006. He specialises in the area of court textiles, kingfisher jewelry, imperial stone carving, cloisonné and glazed architectural components. Jimmy's book, 'The Imperial Court Insignia', published by Huaxia Publishing House in 2016, has been endorsed by the Palace Museum and National Museum of China and by international experts from Britain, USA and Hong Kong SAR. Jimmy is an expert and enthusiastic sharer of his expertise.
