Author and tech expert Duncan Clark will explore whether genuine innovation is fueling China’s new generation of tech moguls – and why the question is a crucial one for their business empires.  This year Clark launched the English-language and Chinese-language versions of “Alibaba: the House that Jack Ma Built”, which charts the rise of Alibaba and the challenges it faces as the company expands beyond e-commerce into finance, entertainment, media and beyond. The book was shortlisted in September for the FT/McKinsey Business Book of the Year. This event is jointly organized by RASBJ and Capital M.

He is an independent director of Bangkok Bank (China) and an advisory board member of WildAid and the Digital Communication Fund of Pictet et Cie.
