“Leonardo’s Dream of Flight” by Plinio Innocenzi
Leonardo da Vinci is recognized worldwide as one of the most talented artists and inventors in history. His most ambitious dream was human flight. He drew gliders, a parachute, a helicopter prototype, machines imitating the flight of birds, and other exotica. Modern reconstructions have shown that most of his models could fly.
