“Magic Flute” children’s concert, a pop-up event
RASBJ Council Member Peter Hogg helped arrange tickets for a special performance of “The Magic Flute” on Aug. 27 at 19:30 PM at the Beijing Concert Hall. The concert was by young Chinese students and organised as an initiative to help develop musical ability among Chinese youth. Free admission was offered via Wechat to a number of representatives from the diplomatic community, the British Chamber of Commerce, and the Royal Asiatic Society Beijing (RASBJ).
The charming performance attracted a robust response. In the future, RASBJ will announce similar pop-up events and opportunities, when spaces are offered at short notice. If you’re interested, please keep an eye on our website www.rasbj.org for instructions on how to sign up via Wechat, or email [email protected] for more details.
